Icon1 An Idea that CA should listen to!!!

I bought a new game the other day called Europa Universails 3. I'm sure some of you are aware of this game but for the ones who are not please take a look at it.....I give it 2 big thumbs up.

The games completely owns the Total war games when it come to # of faction choices....Diplomacy Options....AI behavior....and several other points....however TW has got a lot better graphics and much better actions/ units.

EU3 also has the best balancing I have seen in a game. It is realy is IMPOSSIBLE to conquor the whole map....and not only because it is a large map but because of the built in features that causes nations to gang up on you if you have a bad reputation and have declared war several times without a good cause. Also your allies in EU3 actually try to help you when you go to war and rarley abandon you in a time of need

I would LOVE to see a combination of these 2 games. I am hopeful about the new empires total war game and I really pray that CA doesn't concetrate too much on new things like Naval Battles that it does not greatly improve other things such as AI and diplomacy...I encourage anyone to try this game and just dream (Like I have) of a game that incorperated the best of EU3 and TW

well year everyone knows the AI is terrible in TW. I was just wanting others that have experience with both TW and EU3 to comment. I hope the interactions between factions in the new empires game is very similiar to the EU3 setup.....I have played m2tw for so long that I forgot how much fun it is when the AI makes sense and a game gives you ample options for diplomacy

I've been looking into getting EU3, but I can't find anywhere that sells it (UK). I'm also looking into Crusader Kings and the Deus Vult expansion but, again, I can't find this game anywhere apart from the Paradox store which is charging £14.99 each (game and expansion).

It's you that's bad, not the Total War Ai

If you can't beat it don't complain.
I think it is you that is bad for even considering the possibility that someone cannot beat the Total War AI
It's redundant to write your username at the end of your post,

I believe you misunderstood what I was saying...m2tw is easy to beat. It is eu3 that has things built into it that make it impossible to dominate the whole world....without cheating of course.

I bought my copy from amazon.com and only paid like 12US dollars for it with shipping included. I have not played the expansion though how is it?

1/5 or so of my defensive siege battles end in starring contests, which counts as a victory for the defender (me). The rest of the time, I'm only lucky enough to get a challenge because of balancing mods. The battle and campaign map AI is terrible.

EU3 is a great game! The AI isn't perfect and makes its fair share of stupid mistakes, but at least diplomacy follows some kind of logic.

EU3 is terrific. I also wish they would combine it with the live actions battles of M2. It would be much more fun than having two guys with halberds poke at each other during a battle.

I'm actually quite excited for the next one, which is set in Antiquity.
