lingering smoke?

Hola people of the total war centre! I was wondering how do you guys get lingering smoke? I all the screens I see theres all this smoke and in my game theres almost none can some tell me how to get lingering smoke?

It's an option on install. However, even 'lingering' smoke doesn't stick around too long, so you have to take the screenshot pretty quick after you fire a volley.

In alot of the screens that you see, a great amount of time has been spent is electing just the right moment to take the images. I do know that some of the ealier screenshots of Russia, France etc. had enhanced PS touch-ups.

While ingering smoke does allow for a greater depth of snooty fun, it does not last forever. There are some limits to the RTW engine at work here. I suggest that you re-read the install instructions and notes to make sure that you have installed the lingering smoke option.

If you have already installed NTW2, then I suggest that you look in your extras folder located in the root napoleonic folder. There is a folder called "linger_smoke" that might be of use to you.

i went and checked the extras folder and all i found was low res textures nothing else maybe i dont have the proper version?
