    Default A challenge

So I started a new campaign with my favourite faction, England, and migrated to Palma. Conquered corsica and sardinia, but I'm having hard times controlling it, because I have very little income and the Moors and Genoa are always invading the islands. Tips? Your experience?

I would attack Genoa and then move on to Milan wiping them off the face of the earth. I wold also recommend the build up of a large navy to keep the invaders away from the islands.

Destory Genoa 1st because they will always attack you no matter what and come at you with a stack full of crossbowmen which are super cheap to get and upkeep is cheap as heck 2.

When playing as the moors the best way to get half the world against you is to attack Sicily.

You might want to be carefull to not get the pope against you since a lot of catholic factions are rather close to those islands. Aragon, France, Milan, Venice, Sicily, the HRE and perhaps even Leon Castille could be at your little islands rather fast.

My advice is to get Milan excommunicated and then destroy them as quick as you can before they are reconciled.

England = archers = good against unarmored troops. Moors run around in tunics. Thus kill the Moors.

And Pope will be happy! =) But the Genoese should be tight, and Moors widespread, so SACK both Genoa and Milan - this will finance you enought to gather al lot of troops to Crusade the Moors. Don't bother with Spain until', although longbows simply wipe them out as well.

    How do you migrate? :hm:

Do you just pack up and move all of your units to another location?

Datails please. This could be fun.

    Cheers

Yep, since hording is not available; pack up with all units (except some defending your main castle because for some reason your army moving through Europe seize to exist if the city far away gets taken).

That's very funny, I restarted my campaign because I installed some mods, and I'm back there again... Things are going well, the Almoravids are not pissing me nor Genoa... developing my economy and castles first before launching an attack on Sicily or Genoa... Starting by Palermo or Marseille

I'd rather go for Palermo than Palma. Sicily never defends it enough and it's a very nice place to rule the whole Mediterranean from.
