Problem with install

Hi everyone. I have a problem and i cannot install eb.
I'm downloading eb.
When the download is ready then i start extracting.
When the extract is ready i receive a message that the current packet isn't compatible with the windows installer.
My windows are xp professional.

Please help me !

Does it say something about unknown symbols or more like something is corrupt? If it sounds like something is corrupt or unreadable, you may have to redownload the installer (it should be 637MB when complete).

i've rwdownloaded the installer but the problem remains.after extracting a warning window from windows installer says:

it's not possible the opening of this installing package.Be ssure that the package exists and you have access into this or communicate with the supplier to be sure that it is a valid package of windows installer.

Does your Windows username contain any characters other than Roman letters and Arabic numerals?

You mean the name of the user?
It's in Greek alphabet.

i've change it into latin characters but the problem still exists.

I don't know what's wrong then...

You can try installing manually:
Download the "7-zip" program, and then browse the EB installer using that program. Find the "EB" folder inside of that and copy/paste it to your "Rome - Total War" folder. Then copy your RTW shortcut on your desktop and add " -mod:eb -show:err" to the end of the target line. If you run that shortcut you'll be able to play EB...
