    Futurama is coming back. Just watched a commercial on Comedy Central, new episodes of Futurama are coming on either this or next sunday.

    It is a time of great rejoicing.

    yeah after family guy got re-aired i heard they were bringing back futurama as well, but it's been a while now, and all i've heard of since is the movie.

    From what I have heard, it IS coming back, I'm just not sure when.

    Bender's Big Score was horrible and completely unfunny...bought the dvd when it came out (which is being broken up into the new shows for Comedy channel) and Id prefer the show stay dead if this is what we are to expect.

    I thought it was pretty good, but they took a concept that should have been given a 30 minute show and made a full length movie out of it.

    Yeah the story itself is fine its just its not Futurama funny you are right it just dragged on too long

    the simpsons has been milked way beyond the point it was still funny, i would be happy if futurama just stayed as being a classic.

    I thought Bender's Big Score was pretty funny. After all, Futurama wasn't that great. Don't get me wrong, I really like it, but it always had less joke 'density' than some other shows. The movie (to me) seemed like a continuation of that tradition..

    There will be four Futurama movies that will together comprise the fifth season. That is something to look forward to.. See here: List of Futurama episodes - Season 5

    futurama is funny because of the characters. Some people who only watch a show or two here there won't find it as funny as others might. Similarly, i think the Office is hilarious, but some people literally see no humor in it at all.
