Doomsday

This new movie by director Neil Marshall (directed The Descent, Dog Soldiers and Combat) looks to be interesting. Reminds me of a zombie movie that focuses on the survivors. This case, there is a wall with one side being all of civilizations survivors and the other side (who were pretty much left to die) appear to be some sort of warrior cult that survived with axes, warpaint and football gear. It looks pretty interesting except for the main actor, who I've never seen/heard of and she looks like she's nothing exceptional.

It's going to suck.

i literally shudder when i see the trailer. WHen it's on i shut off the sound so i dont have to hear the chick say *rough enough* at the end. lol.

I see what you mean by the stupid girl, but I have seen enough intellectually stimulating movies to desire some bloody fighting scenes. for me this movie = Blood>Story

I have seen the preview several times, and not once did I ever see anything that tells me what this movie is about.

Can't tell what it's gonna be with this movie. Could be somewhat entertaining or, more likely, a stupid action movie like the Resident Evil series. Apart from that it looks like someone mixed Escape from New York with Mad Max, so no creativity bonus here.

I hope to god your joking, if not I can't believe how much crappier the storyline can be. They might as well have ghouls in a cross shaped building, worshipping the nuke getting attacked by an army of super mutants, while a squad of soldiers from an organization called the Brotherhood of Steel shows up to defend them...which is definitely NOT from a certain post-apocalyptic game based on one of the greatest RPG's ever.

These people who are infected, what happens to them? I've seen the trailer many times and they people walled in don't look like zombies. More like savages or psycos.

And the main chick, Rona Metra or whatever, she is hawt.

I think it's supposed to intend these 'infected' aren't actually infected. Just like if zombies broke out and we built a wall with some people left behind, these left behinder's would try and fight back and in this case they got a bunch of swords and flamethrowers and didn't get infected. At least thats how I picture it.

Bah. He just needs to get Dog Soldiers 2 going in earnest, or rather take it over from whoever's doing it now. I don't imagine any new director could get it right
