    Default skirmish mode

    I was just wondering (experimenting a bit), what do you have to alter to enable skirmish mode?
    For example, how do you give an infantry unit skirmish mode? And are special formations still possible?

    I think you change the setting in the export_descr_units.txt file from "infantry" to "missile"

    And more: change the setting in descr_model_battle.txt file put this in skeleton:

    skeleton fs_fast_javelinman, fs_s1_fast_swordsman -----or
    skeleton fs_fast_javelinman, fs_fast_swordsman

    Actually ignore the second post, that is only done if the unit has a primary weapon that is a javelin. A unit can be a missle type unit without needing to have a ranged weapon.

    If the model does not support multiple weapons then changing the skeletons to include a second skeleton will cause problems. Changing the skeleton from the weapon type of the model (i.e. without adding a second skeleton, so change form fs_swordsman to fs_spearman) will also cause problems.

    Special formations are still possible as I have the Roman light auxillia with Shield wall
