Hey, Octavius and Kozak, would you mind if I add this portrait to FMIR too?

    Titus Labienus

Portraits of Crassus and Cato, L7c make for 58 BC and new portraits not better than this.

Superb, he will appear in FMIR for sure. Although probably as some relative of Labienus; Titus Labienus was too young at the start date of the mod.

I am going to ask a favor to both Kozak, L7c and Octavius. There is absolutely no problem if you cannot do it, of course.

These are some faction selection screens of the mod at the moment:

    Marians:

    Pontos:

    Arverni:

Please do not pay attention to the 77BC tag. It is a leftover of the new built.

The important point is that, as you can see, I am using L7c superb portraits as faction avatars. I think that they look great and give a unique look to our project.

But there are many playable factions -most of them, in fact-, that lack a portrait to use.

So here comes the favor: if Octavius was able to find portraits for characters relevant for our time period and Kozak and L7c were so kind to adapt them in their unique style, it would be great. I guess that some depictions are impossible to find, so we could use something close to it: to put an example, if you cannot find Antiokhos Grypos, who ruled the Seleucid kingdom in 107BC, we could use some other portrait of a Seleucid monarch.

These are the playable factions lacking portraits at the moment:

    Nabateans
    Cimbri
    Dacians
    Ptolemaics
    Germans
    Hasmoniaioi (Judeans)
    Parthia
    Sarmatians
    Maidoi (Thrace)
    Saka

I know that this is a huge task, so please feel free to refuse if you cannot fulfill it.

Anyway, let me thank you for all your superb work so far.

    Ptolemy IX Lathyros

If and although he's not the ruling king in FMIR here's Ptolemy VI.. Maybe you'll fancy his image better... I think his would be cool for faction avatar.

lol, that statue and shumate`s illustration are the exact things I would have referred to myself. But I think the angle of the Pyrrhus bust from wikipedia could serve better for a character card:

Cool. Let us wait and see if our artists have some time for him.

Those portraits are awesome! It would be cool if Pyrrhus could be made too. He`s too early for the FRRE mods, but it would be a splendid addition to mods like RTR or EB which start in the 280-270. Considering that Pyrrhus was pretty much the personality of the day then.

@Kozak Who made the last portraits? You or L7c?

With about as much success as your last dozen posts. Personally I doubt you`ll get anything if you suffocate them with proposals all at once. It`s best to ask for one thing at a time imo. Presuming they`re not gone for ever of course.
