Unplayable

Hey everyone. I really want to play this mod and get super pumped from all the screens and AAR's, but it is unplayable.

I constantly get "M2TW encountered an unspecified error and it will now exit" and then the game crashes to desktop. It happens within a few turns whenever I start a campaign, and has only happened on the campaign map (though I auto resolve most of my battles).

Please can someone help me out? I hate being redundant but I already posted this on the tech help forum and didn't get any replies after a few days.

P.S. I'm a VISTA user

download the 1.05 patch
it should have the vista/windows fatal error fix

Yeah, if you haven't gotten 1.05 that should solve the issue for you. If not, report back here and I'll run you through getting a log to see if you get a specified error (Probably won't, but it helps).

Find the BC.config file in your MTWII folder.

Enter it, and paste this code:

to = logs/system.log.txt
level = * error

Save, then try and run the game, reach that error, and then quit.

Find the 'logs' folder in the MTWII directory, open up the text file, and tell me what it says.
