The Great Gatsby because I have too.

Haven't been to the bookstore/library in a long time though so there won't be anything I like.

After finishing The Art of War by Sun Tzu, I went for 3 other books I choose:

    The Adventures of Mark Twain
20.000 miles under the sea, Jules Verne
    Ilias, Homerus

    Which should I start reading?

Also searched: To the centre of the Earth, Jules Verne but couldnt find it.

PS: Sorry for the translations, dont really know how theyre spelled in English...

Haha, I'd recommend reading Mark Twain if you're not an American (as I infer from your statements) just to get a feel for our "character", though I'm not sure to which work you're referring. He wrote some "adventures" but I don't think any are called "The Adventures of Mark Twain". Nevertheless, any of his books are good, and his adventure stories are hallmarks of American literature.

Oh, and it's 20,000 "leagues" under the sea, and "The Iliad" by "Homer"... also you may have more luck finding "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (but I'd think Centre would have some results too)

As for what I'm reading, it's currently The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Very strange, but King is a master of suspense - as much as I might want to at times I can't stop reading just to figure out what the current big plot secret is.

Be ready to be very insulted or very amused.

Opened Lolita by Nabakov, with the War with Hannibal by Livy on the side.

Ernst Jünger's book Storm of Steel. And after that W.T. Sherman's Memoirs.

I am going on a vacation and I tend to be a voracious reader when on vacation. I might even dip into Erich von Manstien's Lost Victories.

As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.
