Eww - marrying a girl to her uncle at 14! =\ I almost always use my ladies as diplomats prior, in order to raise their charm... And then I either enter them into some other faction's family (bad), or use them to get me a new general, who will also be in the family tree.
Do it, I wonder what kind of traits there children would have.
can I make you a question? how did you remove the line borders in the small map?
And how did you make the map faction colours transparent?
Also you should use your princess exclusively for marriage alliances /marrying disloyal but good generals when they have high charm.
Eventually that guy will get a computer generated marriage offer.
Best thing is still to get a 10-star general from another faction, that is already ready to attack with some merc forces at the disposal.![]()
I would so do that if I could find any around. I just right clicked on all the cities and castles to find sutors and found a few old men. Maybe I should send her to Italy to find someone to marry there.
Also how do you build up charm with her when you already have trade rights and map information with everyone? Can you get charm buy offering gifts or something?
Buy regions, sell regions, ally, go at war, propose peace, etc.; most diplomacy offers will raise it - you can as well UPDATE the map with them, since the you can offer to change the maps again, once they have some more of it.
As to generals - there are really some for every faction out there... You can use toggle_fow cheat in console to view the whole map and find them; then - move her to supposed target.
And the last thing - you can have endless marriage alliances with other factions, as long as they have some princes to marry your gal to.![]()
Hello people, I have a problem. I never have princesses with Byzantium. The only princess is Anna Comnene and l8r I have nothing. I try not to mary everyone when the card is showing up and then I try to locate a princess and I never find one. Does everyone experience this?
I never have princesses except the first one.![]()
lol I never knew you could inbreed the royals in this game. Lol historical realism at its best![]()
Actually, from what I have read there is substantial evidence out there that, as a result of royalty only being married to other members of royalty (in many cases the same family), a number of rulers had serious defects. I can't name any off the top of my head, but I recall reading about this in one of my many Medieval Studies classes at the University of Minnesota.
Not sure if this is what you meant Graywolf with your sarcasm, but nonetheless it is very interesting when looking at some of the various rulers during the time in light of this problem. Please correct me if this has been disproved in the recent years, because at the time it was a rather new 'discovery.'
Well, some Royal families got weird genetic diseaces - look for King James of England (the one, who Autrorised the Bible translation) and for the last generation of Romanov family - strange blood disease from the Queen Victoria, that was spreading only by females, but the effects were only on males.
I do it all the time to keep the dynastic continuation
