    Default 4 turns per year mod question

    To the modders if i run this script is it compatable with your mod.

    And to anyone that does run this script does it cause any issues? And what version do you use.

    It is not compatible with this mod. It makes various trait related stuff not work correctly, expansion will occur at an excelerated pace, various other gameplay issues occur. Use it at your own risk. If you are going to use it, use the most recent version.

    ok thank you, just wanted my generals to live longer, long as they dont die in battle.

    It just means that you get to use your generals more i.e 4 times per year rather than just twice...it doesnt mean that they live longer

    4tpy does not make them live longer, they'll still start dying when they get to ~65 years old, it doesn't matter if you're using 2tpy, 4tpy or 12tpy.

    The script by Myrdraal maybe works. It's somewhere at the .org.
    It does not change traits AFAIK.

    The bolded is exactly the problem with 4tpy, there are many things that are balanced around 2tpy and Myrdraal script, which does work, can't change them for all mods his script might possibly be used for, so he changes none of them (including traits). Which means that if you use 4tpy then all stuff that is balanced for 2tpy is screwed up as I previously mentioned.

    please can someone post the link for Myrdraal's 4 turns per year. The instructions for it as I have the download which lacks instructions. Have spent an hour searching in vain.

    thanks for that link got it working. decided to just test the waters. playing with 23 turns per year. I still got Tiberius Maxentius in my roman campaign with the reforms.
