Very cool! Scans of it would most likely be copyright infringement I suppose.
But are there any good quotes from it?

Grazie mille Davide!![]()
you're welcome
really fast translation (I have the magazine too), I hope at least the general meaning is clear
"Would you like to play Rome: Total War 2? Take a look here. Europa Barbarorum seems indeed a completely new Total War.
The guys committed to this huge mod, started as a project to show to Creative Assembly how to realize some decent barbarians, have decided next to change History. Just give a look at the changelist and you will understand how seriously they had applied themselves to the mod. Patch notes as "No more Mummy Returns Egyptians" give an idea of the contempt of the Europa Barbarorum creators to the freedoms that the ones of Rome: Total War have granted themselves. While the replacement of all the original units with other, especially created by the modders, reveal the incredibile majesty of the project itsef.
Of couse, the core of Rome Total War remains, but the sensation of diversity, both in the look and the gameplay, is immediant and fulminant. Besides the occasional interface elements give a sensation of a slight approssimation, everything , from the new music to the loading screens, probably goes beyond every other mod you could have played. Nations, units, buildings, generals and politicians have been recreated, not only in the name, to reflect carefully thw world in 272 BC.
Even the fog of war has been revised: it doesn't cover indiscriminately all world, but only the parts that History say you shouldn't know yet. The map is expanded and the geography and the borders of the kingdoms already included in Rome Total War have been carefully replaced.
The negative side is that the product becomes less user-friendly. Nations and units are no more clearly and obviosly recognizeable and will be necessary to see often the advices and the documentation to familiarise with the revised and corrected world of Europa Barbarorum, which is not so bad: after all, this is challenge for who is now a master of Rome Total War.
Some nations begin in situation where achieving the victory conditions is considered "nigh impossibile": an accurate valutation of the possibilities of a barbarian people to beat the rich, ordered and disciplined legions of the Mediterrean Sea. As before, playing as Rome is the easiest way, but even in this situation is more dangerous than before.
Europa Barbarorum is not only Rome Total War slighty revised: the game has been altered and deepened. A tribal, nomad faction, for example, now has a completely different political structure, other than buildings and units, than Rome.
The result is much more complex and rewarding product."
Your English is way better than my Italian, thanks it was a good read.

For the straightforward pathway had been lost." Dante Alighieri
Thanks! It actually sounds like an almost word-for-word translation into Italian from the PC Gamer UK article a month or so ago. They must be part of the same magazine "family" and shared it. Is asking for a link to a scan to be sent by PM against forum rules? If so, don't worry, but if that is ok then if it was sent to me by PM I would share it with the other team members who would be interested in seeing it.
sadly I don't have a scannermaybe someone else could provide it
the magazine used to be in the same group as PC Games UK, but since 1 year ago is owned by an indipendent italian publishing group, I haven't read the article in PC Gamer so I can't say.
Thx for the fast translation - it wasn't so badly translated you know.![]()
