Default How to pass on retinue, items?

Hi all, is there a way to pass on items or retinue members? As King of my Kingdom I have decided that it serves the best interests of Poland to NOT have a princess as the owner of the Black Stallion for instance or my one bloodline prince who is alcoholic and gay be the owner of the item that increases fertility LOL. Is there a way to pass these things from one to the next? Also I would like to maybe switch the tudor one guy has to someone who can use him etc.... Thanks for any feedback!

So, you want to pass on black stallions for generations Poor horse would end up being 200 years old and still his owner expecting to increase movement

LOL no thats not the point. The Stallion, Tudor or whatever would have same lifespan, I want to take it now, this generation. As in, I King so and so decide we are taking that from dearest daughter Vasila the gorgon and giving it to son so he can go clean out some Rus!

On items it is a common practice in many cultures for things of great value to become heirlooms...

Would be cool, but weren't knights buried with their unique artifacts (e.g. armor, sword)?
I believe DLV has inheritable swords, so this feature can be done...

bury someone with their 'adulteress'?? XD
On your PC, the units seem to perform quite poorly. I think there might be something nearby the PC that is causing this problem for you. You may need a mirror to find out what it is.

Oh no, no! Adulteress would be passed on (if it is a GOOD adulteress, that is ) until she reaches age of 200 odd, just like the stallion
Just imagine: this is my adulteress, she runs in my family for generations... My grand-grand-grandfather was first to have her.

you'll need to do some digging into your medieval total war folder but inside the /mods/Stainless_steel/data should be a file named export_descr_ancillaries.

When you open it all ancillaries will be visible , there is a line called Transferable. Change 0 to 1 and you can transfer that particular ancillary.

Make sure you make a backup copy first etc

Oh right; its a long list to edit btw
