Ok now i know some of us dontlike the pope, but i have always thought it adds a rich level of realism to the game to have the challenges the pope presents u with. im playing SS 5.1 with Echad's 2.00 fix pack, and Lusteds latest ai and whatnot. Im wondering if any of these for some reason did away with the pope? In my early era campaign as England i have only had 3 popes, and no new cardinals were promoted. Is this a new change? if so i really would like to get it back to normal. Its only 1150, and im stuck with the possibilty of No Supreme Pontiff for the next 4 centuries! Someone help me get him bak. Please. Thankyou in advance.

No mod can actually do that.

That's weird. In my campaigns there is always one faction that almost fills up the college of cardinals, mostly hungary and france...

Yeah i know! thats the weird part! idk im goin to reinstall everything eventually and that mught shake it up. Plus 6.0 is due out soon i hear, so thatll start everything off with a clean slate! Oh well
