changing years per turn during play?

Hello,

I've played ss51 campaign with 1.5 years per turn untill turn ~60 and now want to change it to 2 years per turn like in the original campaign. The reason is I'm waiting for the mongols :-)

Thus a couple of questions.
When do mongols spawn in ss5.1?
Where can I see the historical events? (changing the year might result in missing some of them ... like the mongol event ^^)
and last but not least, how can i change the years per turn?

to change the years per turn go into the folder Medieval II Total War/mods/stainless_steel/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/ then open up the descr_strat.txt file. scroll alittle down and youll see the start and end date. under that is timescale. set it to whatever you want. 2 years for you then 2.00. i play with 2 turns per year and so its winter and summer so i chose 0.50.

You need to start a new campaign for the changes to take effect.
