    Default buildings not being built

anyone else notice when you end a turn, the buildings in production dont change. Like ill end a turn with 3 turns to build a road, and after the turn is over, i still need 3 turns. It happens randomly and is VERY frustrating when it happens more then once. especially when buildings take many turns to build now.

it actually happened with every single city.... none of them would build (just noticed this). Even in cities with governors/generals.

It happend to me to. I was playing with Flanders and there was no governor in Antwerp. But my king was in Brugges. The roads wheren't build, but when i put a governor in Antwerp the roads where back on tracks.
Is't possible that you need a governor in al the city's and castle's?:hmmm:

I think the build time is twice as long without a governor.

no my problem is how i stated it, every city halts construction on random turns. Governor or no Governor.

So if you move a governor to a city to put something in the que and then move him away. It doubles the turns? Funny I didn't notice that when I've done it.

There is no doubling of turns without a character. Don't use cheats to circumvent the recruiting restriction

    Hey Rep,

I have seen it myself. I was playing as the Teutonics, and I put a Castle on build with a governor, and the governor left the next turn, so it had 9 turns left. then next turn after that, it still had 9 turns. So the next turn, I check, and it had 8 turns left. Also, when I have had a governor in the city, the turns stuck at the same number when I checked after hitting next turn. I think that made sense. lol Anyways, I really think it is bugged. Next time I see it, I shall take a screen shot.

It seems very temperamental - sometimes you can build without a governor present and sometimes when a governor is present the turns to build seem doubled or the number jams and jumps about. Perhaps justification for removing the "need govenor to build" idea hehe!

For information It has only ever happened in Towns/Cities and not Castles, perhaps its narrowed down to some slight error i nteh scripting?

Man V.... You are so anti that new Governer's 'Clause'... It hasn't really bothered me too much. I'm definitely glad I don't need a knights-grand cross though.....That's for sure.

definetly, knight grand crosses are soooo hard to get. And i dont mind the change either. I do care about my 3 turn roads taking 5 turns to build though.

I'll keep my eye out for the bug but I haven't seen it yet. Definitely a weird one.

Yeah, I just can;t see justification for it, but seeing as it seems here to stay then il get used to it as Repman obviously put it there for some reason and his ideas have normally turned out well in the past. But I am DAMN HAPPY theres no silly knights cross requirements etc.!

As for the buildings not being built I experienced it again yesterday evening when I took Paris from the French as the English, even with a governor there it didnt allow me to build at all for about 5 years, then he died and I put in a new governor and I could build.
    Very Strange!

Sounds like a hard one to get to the bottom of. I'm playing KOJ and I haven't seen it yet. But I'm only 20 turns in so we'll see.

OK... I'm 40 turns in and I saw the 'slow building bug' for the first time. I've been building a port for 6 turns in Antioch and there's still 4 to go. No telling how long it will take!
