    Default 'Konigsberg_Province' in stringtable?

Okey so a thread was started some days ago by a guy who wanted to play late era campaign in hotseat. I remember trying to ask the same my self a while ago but didn't have specifics.

I do have some specific questions now. This is what I did:

1: Changed names of the imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names with the equivalent for late_era in data/text.

2: Switched the places of the folders late_era and imperial_campaign in campaign, changing the folder names.

Started the game, went into hotseat and tried to launch campaign. CTD on launch (not faction select).

    System log's last sentences:

    23:28:03.875 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/Stainless_Steel/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_regions.txt, at line 1473, column 1
Couldn't find region name 'Konigsberg_Province' in stringtable
23:28:06.171 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.
Konigsberg IS in the descr_regions. Now why does it say this?

Make sure that you have used { and } instead of ( and ) in the imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names file in the text folder.

I made that mistake once. But never again Gave me many headaches and frustrating moments.

Actually is wasn't that hard to change the hotseat to late era.
    1. Copy the late era files into imperial campaign
    2. Change the line "campaign Late_Era" to "imperial_campaign"
    3. Replace the files in the base folder, under maps, with the same files found in the Late Era folder
    4. Go to the text folder, and rename/replace the "Late_Era_Campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt" to "imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt" along with the bin files of the same name

I think that's it, it wasn't really that hard

No need to change the bin files. they adapt by themselves.

sega/medieval 2 total war. just in the main folder, it's a text file. open it, if it ends with: medieval 2 total war has encountered an unspecifieed error. you have the right one just copy the last 5 lines here.

Yes, tried it myself now.. Guess what it said:

    20:28:07.750 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/Stainless_Steel/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_regions.txt, at line 1473, column 1

This is pissing me off, late campaign is superior to early. The Mongols are here and can easily be powered up, less rebel starting provinces and gunpowder is approaching.

Yup, that's the reason why I like the late one instead of the early one. And more factions too. Darn.
