Broken Crescent Refusing to Load

I had this mod for a while. Then my comp crashed and I had to rebuild it.

Well, I've reinstalled everything but now when I click on the icon, it will start up the Broken Crescent title screen, but it will never go to the loading screen to load the main menu. The screen will go black and the Medieval hour-glass loading cursor just sits moving. I cannot alt-tab or ctrl+alt+del so I have to reboot my whole system.

Is it possible that one of the loading screens is causing this problem, such as it being missing or corrupted during installation?

Or could it actually be my resolution? I know Med tends to act somewhat strange if I go higher than 1024x768. Makes no sense since I have a pretty high-end gaming system now. Everything ran perfect on my old AGP card.

Everything has been patched since I have Kingdoms. I also downloaded the 1.5 patch for the mod.

Any help on this strange issue would be appreciated.
