Default Having sort of a dilemma with a jihad

I'm playing as HRE using Stainless Stell 5.1 mod. Egypt calls for a Jihad to capture Constantinople, so they, Turks, and Moors all send their jihads. The Moorish Jihad, however, is traveling from west to east and is going through catholic lands. I did not notice it until it actually arrived on my territory (but it had to have traveled through Spainish and French lands before mine), however, just as they entered my territory, Constantinople fell to the Turks and the jihad is over, so now I have a full stack Moorish army standing on my land. My dilemma is to whether to destroy them or give them a chance to just leave in peace. The reason that it's a dilemma is because they are allied with France with whom I'm allied as well, and right now the Moors are just a neutral to me. What should I do?

Stay neutral, keep good relations with Moors and send 10 merchants to Timbuktu.Merchants in Timbuktu region can earn more than 10000 per turn.Nice money for other war

by the time merchants get there they'll be like 60

Timbuktu is the settlement at the fartest bottom left corner of the map with 2~3 ivory, and 2~3 gold resources, so 4~5 merchants sitting down there = huge income, saying your merchant can go thru the world without being bought out or dying of old age.
On your PC, the units seem to perform quite poorly. I think there might be something nearby the PC that is causing this problem for you. You may need a mirror to find out what it is.

Reason why this happen is that the AI on crusade/jihad never seems to understand that sometimes it is quicker to take to the ships.
Anyway, kill them on their path, they have crappy units and are easy targets to earn some good traits

The AI might be clueless with what to do with the stack, wait 10 turns I'd say and if they're still at the same spot then use the move_character cheat to put them back on their land.

I'd rather use the move_character to put them where they are supposed to be after 10 turns - at their target.

Thanks for all your suggestions guys. I'll try the move_character cheat because they basically parked themselves next to Genoa and just sit there. I also signed an alliance with them just in case. Besides I'm no where close to going to war with them yet.

On the other hand, I've observed crusade armies from the AI factions going back to their own lands after the crusade has ended so I'm not sure why the Moors wouldn't either.

@ burninglegionx: You can just put some merchants on a ship and ferry them over quickly to the North African coast so they still be relatively young when they get to Timbuktu.
