Crown King Problem Help???

Hey guys, Im playing France and my great leader Roi Phillip just died, and anyways I sent the heir, or now faction leader up to Paris since thats my capital. It took him 3 turns to get there, hes kinda old and he was in southern france.

Anyways on the way he got the offends nobility, something Im not worried about since I have all family members no outsiders in my court who are all super loyal.

Anyways hes been in Paris for 3 turns, but he hasn't been crowned yet.

I had a similar problem with my Castille game. Make sure he has room for the 'Crown' ancillary. If he has too many other titles and hangers-on, he won't have room for the crown. Just off-load some of them onto other family members if this is the case.

Yea that fixed the problem, just gave away 2 traits I didn't care for.

Afraid not, it's hardcoded to 8 maximum.

How to remove the retinue??

just put him in an army with another general and drag and drop the retinue from one(open charwindow) to the other (picture).
works in cities, too.
you can do that with other retinues as well, but not with all of them.
and removing titles makes people unhappy :p
