    Default 30!!!

The brave story of the 30 Quakopolu who held off 1800 of the French Infidels til the death. After the intial charge, over 100 French found that Ottoman Steel was of the highest quality as it sliced through them like a food processor. Eventually, the enemies managed to surround the elite cavalry and brought up thier DFK and Dismounted Hospitars who they thought would perfom well agianst cavalry. They were in for a suprise when the Turks pulled out maces and clobbered thier shiny helmets into thier heads.

One man of the cavalry core held off two entire enemy divisions by himself.

Until the last man they fought...

    THEY SHALL BE REMEBERED!!!!!!

Nice man, I love those moments in-game. Looks heroic indeed.

Nope, I gave them two units of DFK two units of Dismounted Hospitalar knights, and another 3 units of relegious fanatics and then the rest where peasants.

If it had been a full stack of peasants, Im sure the cavlary would have won.

I was once besieged by Milan with a force of well over 2000 vs. my 500 troops. My troops consisted of spear men, a few archers, and one group of Light Swordsmen. Their army consisted of spear men, 3 groups of feudal knight cavalry, and many crossbows and a general with 3 stars. Instead of defending the gate like I normally do (due to the massive blob that would obliterate my army's morale, I decided to withdraw to the castle keep area once they breached the gates.

Long story short, my men fought so hard and so long, that I routed over 3/4 of their army with my remaining 3, killed the general. But, I completely forgot about the 800-men reinforcement group that they had with them. By the time I routed them, the reinforcements had arrived through the gates...safe to say, I lost the best general I ever had. He literally had full chivalry, full stars, and nothing but (well a few bad) good traits. I was very sad, and I was so pissed I couldn't save a replay in the campaign game...it was one hell of a battle I'll never forget...or my brother who watched in awe and remarked that it was almost like watching an epic movie like gladiator.

If you had three of those, you would have won. Provided you managed to hit their general.

whatever came with SS 5.1. I never downloaded aditional files.

That a usurper is the new king isnt too bad though, the worst part is that the bastard son of german blood has become the heir.

The Greek king is my best general and fought through some great battles, and I kind of like the German Bastard Prince, but I rather not see either of them on the Silician throne.

ah well, the greek king will probably die in greece, he is close to several stacks of egyptians and is besieged by a full stack of Venetians. He has a full stack garrison but I expect repeated sieges. And it takes time to send troops from Italy to Greece.
