Suggest some mods to me

I have version .903 (or whatever the newest version is) with a license and proper registration.

So, suggest some mods to me. What are some of the more popular ones? Which ones have a lot of support? Which ones are just plain fun?

Also, is there a way to play more than one mod?

The two most prominent mods seem to be
Expanded Gameplay 2

Both keep you in Caldera but give a bounty of great changes.

If you want Romans, though a bit rough around the edges try Legions

Another one thats rough around the edges but fun would be the Onin No Ran mod.

And installing multiple mods is as easy as putting the mods file in the modules folder. Anyways those are the ones I play most hope you enjoy them.

Expanded Gameplay has some amount of a storyline and features a main quest, it's also one of the most frequently upgraded. The game itself is much harder than normal Mount and Blade. Also, you have a chance of dying when you get knocked out in battle (can be turned off). This makes things really interesting, even more so because your heroes can die too.

Band of Warriors' greatest feature is that it offers a vast amount of heroes, 24 IIRC. The entire mod is streamlined to let you manage your heroes better. The mod also adds some features so that heroes aren't overpowered.

Another really good mod is Calradia at War, its map is awesome!!

Haven't tried other mods but from others talking abt them, I know that:

-Bandit King lets you carve out your own empire as an independent
-Eagle and the Radiant Cross has completely reworked and more specialized armies with lots more gunpowder
-Pirates of Calradia has some amount of naval warfare (duh)
-Magic Mod: Curtain of Fire has magic (another obvious one)

Expanded Gameplay II had some trouble with the random crashes a while back with 4.00+ versions (the ones that include the gunpowder age) but I guess it works now?
I also had some (a lot) glitches with Legions.

If you're interested in a French vs. English scenario, Hundred years war is an excellent mod. Dark Age: Viking raiders is a decent mod set in the viking period with more emphatize on infantry.

I think the EG 2 crashes are gone now but it does seem to have a hard time saving your file and keeping you in the Gunpowder age.

The best and most complete mod is still The Last Days but for .808... you would need to reinstall that older version.

Otherwise for .903 Onin No Ran is very complete and nice, especially latest versions... if you like Ancient Japan
