My Issue!

So this is the issue I have been dealing with lately and its really annoying! I have this happen and than the screen refreshs and than boom crash to desktop.

System Specs:
Gateway GM5478 (Upgraded)
Intel Quad Core 2.4Ghz
4GB Ram
BFG (NVidia) 8600GTS OC
500 GB Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Westinghouse 24" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HD Monitor
Creative SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Sound Card with 5.1 Speakers
Vista Ultimate
Windows Experience Index 5.6
3DMark06 Score: 6358

Someone had the same issue not to long ago. Turns out there are a few things in the descr_flaming_projectiles that Nvidia cards cannot handle at their current levels. A bit of tweaking was all that was needed.

Awesome! I just tried it and no CTD although the square firey balls of flame are kinda dumb lol hope its fixed in 6.0!

lol i used to have the same problem back in rtw with the arrows now after i got my radeon the game runs fine even with 4 full army in custom battle

sometimes its way worse than that and it covers 90% of the screen. But ever since I got that advice to go to that one page I havent had that problem which is nice! Im not worried about the game crashing anymore!!
