SS 5.1 Battle Enhancer! for Stainless Steel 5.1 - made by Extra Terrestrial
This mini mod is dedicated for popular Full mod 'Stainless Steel 5.1'
as you know, SS 5.1 is great mod thanks to many enthusiastic mod developers + fans.
but I've thought (and I still think) there are much to be fixed or edited in every corner in this mod.
So I decided to find(not make) myself more challanging Battle Field A.I for my own taste.
I tried most of (everything in my personal opinion...) Battle A.I Packs from various mods and modders. (list of references are in below.)after some tests, I understood each A.I has it's very own feature that intended by it's developers. and I wanted to mix these good features to make much better experience in playing SS 5.1.
Very thanks to read all my broken english. If I'd write this language a little more, this would be get more persuasive. but it looks it doesn't.
anyway, here is the main topic.
I created new Battle A.I files and rebalancing file to get more realistic & challange experiences.
this file is consisted of mods below -
* Point Blank's Real Combat(1.4) & Real Recruitment(0.95) with my 'massive' tuning
* BAI brewed by me
* Ateagina's Mini-Mod(new models of trade wagon, ship, siege states...)
* vlad's new Mongol, Highlander ModelPack(really nice looking)
* RomanStory's AnimationPack for SS5.1
(it means SS 5.1 + SigniferOne's custom animations with perfect compatiblity!)
It can be installed and used like a nickmen777's E Pack. It's like a total battle solution for SS 5.1

Here is the Enhanced issues based on my idea.
* Battle (based on RC 1.4 data)
- Restructured horse's data. Different horses get totally different mass & speed. This change
defenitly shows the difference between Knight's charge & horse archer's. and made melee
cavalry's default formation more loosen for better performance + looks in charging moment
between Cav vs Cav. You can see much natural fighting scene compared to before ones that
just rubbing horses by horses then grabing sword.
- Restructured every Mounted Archer's battle system. reduced there range to 40% and gave
them +2 more damage. with fast horse (as I mentioned above) and short, but deadly range
attack makes mounted archer make totally unique unit compared to old ones that fight like foot
archers. and this change increase the battle's difficulty & give some realism as well.
- Increased Battle Size. I didn't made every units just 255 per squad. based on unit's classes
that arranged in RC rule.
here is the Increasement info (every numbers mean huge size in game)
- Militia, Peasant = 180
- sergeant, professional = 150
- cavalry = 70
- siege equipment = 4 for each squad
and rebalanced siege battle by tunning Wall's Endurance. more siege equipments and
stronger walls make every siege battle more decisive and fun without smash balance.
- Totally optimized act of General's Bodyguard. General unit should command the battlefield
in rear. not to charge in the front and die first. I Gave every bodyguard's defence skill to + 6
for more endurence in battlefield but reduced there number for fix there overbuffed
attacking abillity. only 10 + 1(general himself) in huge. (Leaders can get 30 in max)
more defence, lesser attack make clear there existence in battlefield. Moreover, it also increase
battle difficulty by preventing suicidal general charging & surrender tactics that A.I does
Everytime.
- Increased every unit's moral to +5. default moral rates in RC is bit low for longer battles.
longer battle is one of the important matter for increasing battle difficulty.
- Reduced Pike's damage, deleted every halberd's phalanx formation, increased every weapon's
(include melee) accuracies especially ranged attacks.
- Reduced advantage of Axes, maces in Cavalry for balance compared to sword using
armored knight.
- Every foot ranged units become more useful by increasing their accurate, espacially to
mounted ones.
- Deleted every foot gunner's annoying lining position. now each one of squad can fire their
gun without proper line. for this reason, I reduced every infantry guns accuracy, increased
reload time for proper balance. Now they fight with all their efforts instead hide in the rank!
It would be grateful if you(Point_Blank, King_Kong or somebody!) consider to adopt the balances used in my mod as default for recent RC or SS 6.0. I don't mean I want to adopt each exact factors but the concepts of my Idea.

Install Tips
It made based on SS 5.1 fixed + Real Recruitment 0.95 so I recommend to follow this steps
Install clean SS 5.1 fixed
Install recent Echad's fix pack (2.0 for now)
Install recent PB's RR + RC mod (1.5, 1.0 for now)
Extract my file to Stainless_Steel\Data Folder (backup ever *.txt files before overwrite!)

Go straight to Custom Battle and play couple of games with A.I
