    Default Turning a Resouce into a Mini Town.

    I think that would be pretty cool if you could turn a resource that isn't very interesting into a small village.

    Like the Lord of the Rings: Total War Mod.
    You have little Elven Villages and Wildmen Camps outside of your Bigger Settlements.

    Gives the Map more Life and would be cool for Merchants to take advantage of these little towns.

    I do like the idea of small towns being a resource. Would seem to fit the mold of a resource, and it does add to the map. It could be also used to show other minor cities in the region. Love it mods like RRoma Surrectum. I think it would be great as long as it is possible without removing something like important.

    Well I've seen the cool features they've added with building Resource Buildings. Which have a randomly generated Plus and Negative effect.
    One of them must not be used, Figure it look pretty cool to have small Villages on the Map.

    Yeah we've done something like that in Paeninsula Italica:



    Small towns all around Rome.

    there is some of this with the mines being built etc. I think it could add some immersion to further upon these ideas and make a full mining colony instead of a big minig well.

    Very good idea, now get to modeling it!

    Would be cosmetically good if harbours, mines and the small urban spraw (wee buildings) all had similar buildings and look so they - when bunched in a clump - look like population build up.

    and yes, put a merchant over them - and you get special good money from the artisans and business passing through that hamlet.

    Attention map-makers! How about it?
