    Default The Mongophant Special

Hello there! The following is a picture of a battle I just fought. It involves elephants and Mongols, hence the cool title... its cool, right? (Answer is yes, for those who arent sure)

I decided to fight this because I was bored and had drank my own body weight in Pepsi, so I was on a bit of a sugar high. I saved before the battle, fought it then loaded, so I could fight the Mongols for real without shameless cheating, ruins the challenge I think.

Now I only took one image, but it made me chuckle, so here it is. Anybody else got any amusing elephant stories to share?

    I love you all!

I've never seen elephants in Medieval 2 yet, but remember the mess they could make in Rome. Strapping some cannons to them apparently adds to the mayhem.

Haha well I had a good mix, some cannons, some muskets and some rocket launchers. Though I have to say that the differences didnt count for much really as it was pointless keeping them back for too long.

Can the elephants still launch lots of men into the air as in Rome. I remember playing at huge settings and using them in congested streets against those pathetic Parthian spearmen. They would occasionally send hundreds of men into the air in a matter of seconds (and cause in instant rout of the entire defending army).

They still go flying, though not quite as much as in Rome. A lot of those thrown often stand back up again after as well, so its only really handy for breaking up formations.
    I love you all!

Looking at the picture it appears your elephants were attacked by mice and not Mongols
