The multiple ways to measure television audience means TV-ratings articles are full of lots of numbers. But by just about any way of measuring, Sunday’s broadcast of the 80th Academy Awards was a record low — at least for as long as such things have been measured. This year’s Oscars audience even trailed the season premiere of “American Idol.”
Hmmm..if you ask me, I'm actually glad for this bad news. I have never understood the fascination of multi-millionaire people walking around in a 300,000 dollar suit with a 4000 dollar haircuts and 1 million dollar value jewelry and I'm supposed to be emotional, when they gift each other with a meaningless gold statue for telling a script no more than a few lines long.
