Replacing a wall model
The vanilla RTW came with a greek variant of the roman wall, with a different texture. It looks beautiful, but there is an error with the tower pieces. Their last model (destroyed), is flawed and comes up as invisible. How hard would it be to copy the model from the Roman equivalent piece and reskin it, ignoring the proper animations as needed? How would be the best way to go about this?

Re: Replacing a wall model
How about making a copy of the Roman piece renaming it and replacing the Greek one.
Make sure you make a back up of the Greek one first though, just in case it crashes.

Re: Replacing a wall model
The textures wouldn't match, then would they? The roman and greek textures are different.
The greek textures I mean are the ones that were not released because they weren't finished. Hence the roman style walls in Vanilla.

Re: Replacing a wall model
The textures are assigned by a text file rather than being apart of the model itself, if you mean match as in won't fit. Maybe.. Try it and see, odds are the lay out is similar if not the same..
Walls are a really complicated part to mod..

Re: Replacing a wall model
Alright, thanks. I found the models themselves, and did a simple switch. If the text files relating to the textures haven't changed, then this might work. Thanks.
