so if i have a stack with 2 generals in it, both generels lose supply?
2 generals in the same stack is highly bugged.
The commanding general is gain from victorys and regain the moral of the troops, while the other general not leading wont gain anything, meaning he'll get heavy loyalty penalties if left too long with the army and not in command.
Not sure if that has been fixed in the new version of byg's supply mod.
As far as i know DVL still use 2, while Byg just released version 3 not long ago.

STEAM WORKSHOP MODS
It also states with new family members coming out of school that they need to be placed with an onlder general to get some seasoning.
No don't place the 'student' in the same stack, Place him right next to the general's stack and sometimes he'll pick up some good traits. It's easiest to do this by putting a graduate right next to a city with a good general in it.
with skills he means
command (stars)
chivalry/dread
authority/loyality
piety
That is exactly what I mean - the amount of icons next to the skill has to be higher than certain number for a small chance to learn anything. The higher the skill the bigger the chance to learn for example:
If general has 6 chivalry you have a small chance to learn from him, if he has 10 the chance is bigger but if all of his skills are 1 or 2 then you are wasting your time as you wont learn anything.
Like I said before I dont remember exact numbers as I never do it but I think it was explained quite well in the manual...
