i am using rtr gold with marcus camillus mod, i am using the romans in 174 and it crashes to desktop. i went to the last save 4 turns prior and it still did it. i have changed the thing i do to that point but nothing changes. anyone know of any solutions i would really appreciate it. thanks

For rtr gold I think you can try to use Rome Sage

As Lestat has suggested - use RomeSage. Advance it for a year or two at a time. The game will CTD every now and then. Just keep doing it and it will eventually clear.

When I've had that problem it was with RTR 6 Gold (based on RTW 1.2). It only started around 60BC and continued until around 10BC.

RomeSage cannot be used with RTW games later than 1.2.

I had to use RomeSage for a couple of Roman campaigns I ran for a very long time. Both were effected by the same problem.

I also played a Macedon campaign and it ran through into 80AD without problems. I think I had taken the Romans out of the game well before the Marian Reforms could kick in - or I may just have been lucky.

hey i downloaded sage and has worked, havent had any crashes yet. although it has reverted the year from 165 bc to 230bc but that is far from a problem. thanks for the help again.
