    Default Pro America Thread

With all the nagativity towards Americans in the pit and here, I have decided to create the pro america thread where we can post stuff about what we like about America. Okk here's the main thing I like:

    1. The Constitution
    2. We have the fairest elections in the world
    3. Despite the bashings we get from other countries, we still continue to do what we think is right.

    3. so do serial killers

although i do like americans, i just don't know if those are arguments for why america might be so great.

Despite your good wishes Pontifex, you do realise "Anti-Americans" will spread to this thread?

Anyway what i like about America is:

    1. The weather. Winters where you actually get snow.

Why do we need a proamerican thread? Are we that insecure that we care what the Czars or Mansus of the world say on an internet forum? Also it ignores the fact there are some very valid critical posts about the US by other posters, no country is perfect afterall. Doing the exact opposite of what you are complaining about seems counterproductive. Even your list is completely subjective, every western democracy is going to think #2 about their own country and #3 is basically irrelevant since doing something you think is right doesnt necessary mean it is.

Sorry to ruin the party, but 1) prove that America has the fairest elections in the world and 2) every country gets bashing from other countries, yet still do what we think is right, such a thing is not unique to America.

The perception of anti-americanism on TWC is almost entirely based on the paranoia of nationalistic Americans.

It does seem like there're some overly sensitive Americans in the TWC. They consider it an attack against America if someone just asks a question...

Pontifex, that is truly the stupidest single signature I've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure everyone in some point in time has wanted "change".

    William Wallace = Hitler?
    Thomas Jefferson = Hitler?
    Ghandi=Hitler?
    Martin Luther King Jr.= Hitler?

You have pretty much Godwin'd every single one of your posts from here on out.

Do I really have to fetch you all of the anti-American slandering I've found over my short period in these forums?

Technology is cheaper in America than in Europe. When it comes to education there are more resources and possibilities.

But, it has one of the worst election systems so i can't say it's the fairest.

Nope, you can do whatever* you want with a flag.

*Im sure someone is going to be pedantic and point out something you can't do such as strangle someone with a flag. I obviously don't mean WHATEVER you want. I mean whatever you want such as burning etc.

It's illegal in some buildings, and in other places you'd probably go to the hospital if you burned the flag.

You're right...I didn't....that's because it would be in a language that I wouldn't be able to understand nor the majority of my population...
