    Hey people

    Just curious:

Do you have a particular song that takes you back to an event or period of your life?
Or maybe a song that just makes you well up with tears every time you hear it?
Possibly one that just makes you want to punch the living crap out of everyone within 10 metres of you?

Mine would be Dying In Your Arms - Trivium.
Every time I hear it, it takes me back to when I first got my electric drumkit - its the first thing I played along with and kept playing it all night

From a more sentimental point of view, Dammit - Blink 182 always makes me think of one of my best friends, it seems to be playing every time I go to his place

    What about you?

Korn - Got the Life & Coal Chamber - Loco; remind me of my teen best mate Duncan.
Sunk Loto - everything everyway; Mother of my baby girl.
Chimaira - Black heart; a dark period not so long ago...
Something with Numbers - What i believe; a long lost lust.
Deftones - Knife party; alone times as a teen.
Orgy - anything from the album 'candy ass' reminds of jiggin school.
HIM - poison girl; making a hard decision.
Sevendust - licking cream; first actual girlfriend.
Offspring - self esteem; first kiss.
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Setting fire to sleeping giants; wanting to kill everything everywhere when my partner cheated on me.
Mudvayne - Happy?; a time where my two best mates were sleeping with my best female friend and my partner was sleeping with one of those two best mates after cheating on me with a work mate and me on the outside looking in on how messed up our little group of five turned into hell, and to this day we are all still good friends...

and mostly any Metallica, Guns n Roses or Def Leppard tracks remind me of growing up with my mum blaring her music!

There are two types of music threads in this forum - ones that are exactly the same as this one, and ones about prog.

A lot of the music that you find on the "Buzz Ballads" compilation gives me memories of summer and tomfoolery.
Originally under the patronage of RZZZA. Under the patronage of the Black Prince, in the Royal House of the Black Prince.
