    Default Zuma's mod

    I was wondering. I downloaded the zuma mod before it was taken down and i am a big fan of the DLV strat map look. Would it be possible to implement te mod in SS and asking for premission this time ? It would be ashame that beautiful modding work (read DLV and BC team's) would be lost on some of us who enjoy playing SS. I like and play all three mod's and I don't think that any mod will be damaged because its only the strat map models nothing more nothing less.

    i agree but noone from team of this mods get me premission just repman for castles, cites, etc.
    so i will ceate my mod 2 version with out over people stuff
    just wait

    Can somebody help me. My rebels are ghosts. What needs to be done. But not all of them. Rebels spawning in England are white and rebels spawning in France and germany have skins. The model is the same. I don't understand how is that.

    Missing texture - just copy the one of HRE and rename it to England. You do know, that the game sometimes fails to read the strat map textures in SS folder and you have to copy them to the vanilla data one?

    But this is from zuma mod. Sorry can you be more specific what to do Echad. Wtaht files and where. Please I also saw a pirate ship near England as a white ghost ship.

    Spawning armies in England are white but the rebel army in Wales castle has skin. Spawning armies in HRE are with skins but rebel army in Prague city has no skin. WTF?

    I cannot be specific, since I don't have the mod and dunno, which files to rename. I will talk to you once I'll got my hands it. You PM'ed me links? =)

    OK. I think I fixed it. I did this

    faction slave
    dictionary 2
    strat_model new_general
    battle_model Northern_Captain
    battle_equip gladius, chainmail shirt helmet and rectangular shield

    from

    faction slave
    dictionary 2
    strat_model northern_captain
    battle_model Northern_Captain
    battle_equip gladius, chainmail shirt helmet and rectangular shield

    so new general instaed of northen captain

    In descr_character.txt. I saw now rebels spawning in England with skins. I hope thats it.

    There is another bug. The skin doesnt change for the new faction heir. So the king dies, new king gets the new skin while the new faction heir does not get the new faction heir skin. Any ideas how to trigger this?

    Aragon faction heir was bugged so I fixed it.That needed to be changed.


    type new_captain

    I did test it. For England when the faction heir died the new one recived the new skin. For Aragon he didn't. So strange.

    You should've asked for the permissions before doing the job, as some guys won't give them out AT ALL.

    Zuma , U can actually use your old mod , in the Oblivion Mod fashion way and to my understanding , no rule and ethical rule prevent you from doing so
    all u need to do its provide the modded files for the extra stuff and make others download the textures and meshes off the originals mods , u give instruction on which files need to be moved and where , and there u go , U technically aren't giving any files from others mod , just modded version of SS 5.1 files , and that ^^ its totally fine , plus don't need to ask for permission ^^ and that my friend , its the beauty of copy right ^^
