How i can get scots guards?
As far as I remember, Scots Guards are elite archers and part of the French faction, so you will not be able to get them while playing as the Scots.

Excellent Archers. Only available when playing as France.
Yep, all Scots skilled at archery have to get their higher education in France.

In vanilla you get them from huge city walls.
I don't shave my legs. The fur helps keep my knees warm.
It's called a kilt, not a dress and there is a reason it's called that. If you want the explanation, please ask.
The only lipstick I wear is what a beautiful lady puts under my kilt, thus the term "Air deagh la peant bhilean" meaning "on a good day, lipstick."
If Bill Clinton knew what kilts did to women, he would wear one every day!

why is a kilt called a kilt (hopes this is a funny joke)
I think it is joke that the French get any sort of Longbowmen - why not give the English Chilvalric knights as well. It's the same with Scotland getting Mailed and Feudal Knights - when did they ever have them in history.
Also the French get Mounted Longbowmen and the English don't!! So very gay!!!
um, Hungary Horace, I'm as confused as you about the French and longbowmen, but the Scots sure had knights - for much of their history.
Scots from the highlands didn't go in for it much I believe, but a decent part of Scotland is lowlands and (probably out of a deep seated inferiority complex) lowlanders sure appreciated something large, strong and velvety between their legs. Trouble was of course, many of them held vulnerable lands close to the English and so they frequently had trouble figuring out which army they belonged to. (The poor things had teeny tiny brains to go with their inferiority complex.)
Robert the Bruce was a classic example, and he led a bunch of Scottish Fuedal Knights, and he fought against Scottish Fuedal Knights, that were fighting for England at the time, or for Scotland at the time, depends which time really...
... personally I'm dissapointed that the English are missing a unit - Scottish Fuedal Knights.![]()
You see every Scotsman with a horse is fleeing!! - Taken form Braveheart.
Now they were defo Border horse - useful for slaying archers!!
Scotland are good to play in the Britannia campaign in kingdoms.
...are they? Damn, really wish I had Kingdoms now.
Maybe then I'd finally get my fill of Scotch, and could go back to mucking about as the Turks.
it would be a joke if scotland didnt get those cavalry - then they would pretty much have just border horse, which isnt much to take over the world with. why ca didnt have province dependant units like in mtw i dont know - then scotland could have all the other normal units if they took more than say three provinces - call it not york, inverness or dublin, but every where else - which wowuld be realistic - once a nation has resources to make newer better units, they are not going to stick with the same old limited roster
