you want to know what file you need to alter the effects of sqaulor?

you can also play around with the benefits that buildings give in the EDB, altering some values can alter how squalor works. simply look in the docudemons for help on what could work there. or just use the effects already used in many of the buildings already.

I'm new at this but destroying buildings to get squalor down seems foolish. I find an enemy nation and send a diplomat to give them my city. This does two things. First, it kicks out your military units and puts them right next to the city. Second, it leaves the city unmanned by the enemy. You can retake the city with a band of pesants if you wanted to. When you retake it, kill off citizens (nobody cares because they were you enemy's citizens). I also find this to be a great way to generate revenue toward the end of a game.
