I found a book on Google Books today with some useful info about Alexander, his later cavalry, and the integration of "barbarian" units into his army. The best stuff is on pages 220-222 (with notes on p.232) of Alexander the Great: A Reader, by Ian Worthington.

Nope, just go to Google and search in Books (like you'd use Scholar, Froogle/Products, or News).
