    Default Way too many Fatal Errors

    I have been getting a lot of fatal errors saying stuff like mtw2 suffered and unexpected error and the game closes during some battles which is quite annoying having to do the same fight twice.

    The only mod I have on there is Echad 2.0 patch fix....
    Any ideas what it could be?

    grafics?? maybe your missing something in the files

    i suggest you reinstall echads mod

    i had a similar problem also so if you have vista maybe thats your problem

    not an expert but i hope this helps

    same thing happened to me in a very critical point in my (very exciting and tense) Templar campaign on VH/VH. I reloaded and it crashed everytime I ended turn.

    I wonder if the same thing would happen on the regular game...or is it vista...

    I have the same problem periodically also. I also have Vista.

    I have not had it happen playing Lusted's Mod though... so it might be a specific way SS interacts with Vista (read by non-Vista users as: the problem is Vista).

    I get a fatal error when ever I use FIRE is in use.
    destroy Building on fire, fire arrow, fire ball, etc.

    Tested on both XP and Vista.
    Same Error with Echad fix.
    Have anybody try SS5.1b without Echad and see if they have similar problem?|

    I doubt its vista. Considering I've try much more demanding mod. DLV or Niko Conversion Officer mod. Works like a charm.

    Edit: I figure out whats going on with the arrow issue.
    I've uninstall and test each phase, 5.0-5.1-echad fix.
    In Echad fix in optional install. Smoke Fix, which has some impact, fire trail .txt files.
    If you follow the "FLAMING" arrows, there's a change the texture will warp and the game to refesh as if you "ALT-TAB" back in the game.
    Whats weird, sometimes the smoke trail gets this weird square texture model. Sometimes nothing happen except the frame rate drops really low. (Memory Leakage?)

    Could be just me but no problem before the optional fix, DLV, or other mod.

    I have a modified arrow effect coming out next day or two; I'm having strange graphic errors when I make changes to the existing smokefix file, so the release is going to be delayed a little, whilke I figure out why..

    I have the refreshing issue as well. Sometimes in battles it will refresh and than I know it will CTD... I had the smoke fix installed so maybe that's it?

    Whoa triple post, but yea seem like this is an issue with the "SMOKE-FIX"

    A co-worker of mine has the same refreshing issue in which he will CTD shortly after. Something probably up with the trail effect or impact files. I usually get the CTD when the arrow impact the objects.

    I'll think I'll wait for SS 6.0 or DLV 5.4 to be release
