Having downloaded RTRPE a little over a week ago, I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who has been involved in the development of the mod over the years.

Having played vanilla RTW for several years (tried MTW but soon returned...) this mod has got me as hooked as I was when I first gazed in awe at the screen filled with thousands of men ready to do battle!

Dived straight into a Greeks game on vh/vh and loved every minute! The map, skins, new units, new buildings, factions.... great stuff. Have got to a pretty unassailable position so I've paused that.

Started a Rome campaign last night using Quintus' (and others) recently found guide to historical playing. Wonderful. Using the the date times for accurate expansion really allows for steady progression (and allows other factions time to develop). Fascinated to see who will be the dominant factions (Seleucids, Ptolemic, Macedonia?) when I eventually move out of Italy.

And yes I will most certainly be downloading TIC sometime soon but I don't want to rush it. I'm enjoying myself too much at the moment!
