    Default Animal in export_desc_unit?

I ask this here, and not in a mod thread for Medieval II: Total War, as I tried looking for export_descr_unit in the main Medieval 2 Total War\data folder.

Anyhow, reading the thread, Excellent new modification I decided to edit the unit, mercenary and buildings in BC by similar factors mentioned in that thread (3 and 4 for units respectively, and 2, or whatever I see fit, for buildings).

So anyway there are columns giving the title of what you will input. e.g., "Class" followed by "Heavy"

    "Animal"
was one column that got me interested.
If you were to put in,
    Code:
    soldier persian_lancers, 32, 0, 1
    animal fast pony
    mount bc heavy horse
    mount_effect elephant -4, camel -4
Would that work? The column "animal" isn't on any of the unit information that I have seen, so would it work? And if so, would each of those soldiers have an extra horse with them? In this case, a fast pony? Even if you had to have a 'bc heavy horse" would that work?

For some units, would it be possible to have "animal camel" next to their name in order to have a camel next to the unit? That would be interesting to say the least.

    Another few things:
~"power_charge = unkown" Is that the BC team saying it is unknown? Or did CA implement something they didn't know? Has anyone tryed fiddling with this?
~"stat_food No longer used" Is this BC saying it is no longer used? Or did CA plan on implementing this? If it was BC, what did it originally do?
~And can you have up to a Ternary weapon? How would that work? I know Alternative gets the secondary weapon, but what other keaboard button can get a Ternary (or Tertiary?) weapon into the hand?
~And as for the "Attribute" column, is there anywhere naming what they all do? Thanks.

With the export_descr_buildings file, it says not to be edited by hand, saying that it came from a spreadsheet.
Can I edit it in notepad to change costs? If not, where would I find said spreadsheet?

Anyway, I am going to go try fiddling with the "animal" column now, or after I finish with the internet (still more TWC topics to go to )

EDIT: OK, it seems I am getting a CTD after the loading screen whenever trying to fiddle with "animal". Do the animals themselves have to be created to be used? If this could work, Mongols could have the realistic several horses coming with each man. Even if it isn't accurate (who would have a spare horse following them into battle?), it would look pretty good, me thinks.

in the line "animal" you can have only one type of it, fast pony is horse with fast moving. you cant give your unit extra animals ;]

I didn't understand that sorry? Did you mean I can't have bc Heavy Horse with a fast pony? I never actually tryed with that combination. I tryed with the BC heavy horse and BC heavy horse. I actually tried giving the dismounted Hospitaller knights an animal as well as their mounted counterparts. CTDs all round everybody. They're on the house!

We didn't alter any of the informative parts of the EDU, so some of it is as much of a mystery to us as to you.

Power Charge - I have heard that it makes the charge last longer, thereby giving them greater damage.

Stat food has had no use in Vanilla, so I have no idea what it does.

Teritary I think is involved with trebuchet's (They have regular, fire, and cow projectiles). As for Attributes, check: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=88859
