change faction heir cheat ???

i saw somewhere that the cheat was "remove_trait this factionheir" in the character choosen by game, and then to the character you want the heir to be you must choose it and insert "give_trait this factionheir". this doesn't work to me though... Am i doing something wrong?:hmmm:

no, it just does not work. But I think you get a loyality bonus on the heir character at least

Doesn't work that way. Being a Heir is coded in the game itself, while "Faction Heir" trait is only given to the person chosen as the Heir, but doesn't affect him being so.

the worst thing they have made in MTW II it's that you can't choose heir like in rome!! it's very annoying because AI always choose wrong people!!

A king had the power to choose who should follow him, so why can't you do it in game?

It is historicaly true. The next in line wasn't always the best man for the job. But if someone was dissinherited wouldn't they get angry at the king/duke and want either him or the new heir dead? That could make for some interesting traits and power struggles in your faction but its probably over complicating it lol.

correct you can't.

worst part is CA for some dipstick reason made sure we couldn't even MOD it in! They worked HARD at one thing in the game at least. -snort-
