How will this affect my beloved fort building at chokepoints, like rivers. can you still hold the the rivers crossing with a well placed fort and those hardy peasants?

Yes, there is river Danube. The Castle Buda and the city Pest united in 1873. And big city Budapest was born

By the way, I can see a boat on the river. Damn good idea. Because Danube river used to be very important trade route

Funny enough I've been thinking about the idea of adding landmarks to my own map (not sure if some of my ideas are possible though). Perhaps this is the next area for me to learn in modding, thanks.

In theory this should open massive new tactical elements to the game. Vienna and Buda and pest will be much more open to 'friendly incursions' from my ever so friendly 'we just want to give you sweeties' venetian archers and company.

whoever i got a question , Players can block the land bridge with boats but , do the AI do ? since i think that an exploit ^^

Seeing as you guys have focused on the Danube making it possible for ships to sail along it. I am hoping you will also recognise the fact that one of the most historically important settlements along it was Belgrade and that you will add this settlement to the map in the next update.

I appreciate you probably get loads of settlement requests but i really feel Belgrade merits an inclusion.

Hmmm, I cant help myself and have to ask the question: Is there a plan to make any other rivers navigable? It would be nice to have such rivers as Dnieper or Rhein navigable as well?
Anyways good idea, I am glad to be back playing MTW - see that you guys came up with a few good ideas while I was gone

Good idea with the rivers Dniepr and Rhein. Probably also Seine/Loire in France.
