I ask this here, because I think our attention span has very much to do with what we believe.
If you do not have a long attention span, you will likely believe in shorter, will believe in a statement of brevity rather than reason.
If we have a longer attention span, we can put more emphasis on learning the things that don't directly affect us as opposed to us paying attention the things that do directly us and really our Priority 1..
This ignorance in the belief that the things that affect us directly right now are our only threats is nonsense. It goes further to damage us than anything else. It is a blindness we wilfully or unwittingly allow ourselves to be put through that damages us. It is that that is unnecessary.
It is that that allows us to pass judgment without a second's thought on what the person had actually done, it is that that allows us to abstain to ask why?
Why? Just ask why, and we will learn. Just ask "why?" and focusing on attention span will allow us to entertain possibilities without accepting them. It is in the question that we will find our answer.
Too metaphysical? Think of it as... we find our best solutions in only looking at how we find these solutions, rather than the solutions themselves.
Attention span. It is also what divides us.
