Gee, I had a J1had against... LONDON!

It's 1267 and playing as the steeeenking Engleeeesh I have just had a J1had called against London!

I did go on the last crusdae (no, not the Indiana Jones film) and ended up near Acre when the crusade was called off leaving my man and his brave lads stuck on the Turk mainland north of the isle of Cypress. I trooped the lads down to the coast and raised some merc' ships to take us to Cypress which we then subjigated. I'd sent a second force by sea on my strong main English fleet from the Channel all the way around Iberia and into the med, eventually arriving with the support forces to hold the two regions on the Cypriot island. I took it off the Byzantines who then made up with me. i've given them a lot of money to cheer them up for the island. however, The Turks hate me for blockading their nearby port (for money from the guild). As soon as I've settled the island down I'm raising a raiding force to perform sudden hit and run attacks on the mainlands.

J1had on London! Well, let's see the AI factions all come at London, they have to get through the Froggies, Cloggies and Sausage Scoffers first!

they really hate you to call a jihad to london , wow ^^ that all the other end of the map . what did did to them ? u sacked the town u conquered , killed prisoner's , destroyed holy places ? i mean u really piss them off ^^ hahaha good campaign man

Yes it's included now.

Glad to see it working so effectively Tokus. It's just the sort of thing I hoped would happen. Also very wise to stick close to the Pope as a Catholic faction now runs the risk of Crusades being called upon it's best cities if they get excommunicated.

It's 1272 and usually known for their willingness to die for their causes, it would appear the current rulers lack the courage and conviction to answer the call to their holy J1had. Failed J1had: London. 5 years after it was mooted. Haven't made any peace so dunno what the 'stand down' trigger was. Still, it kept me awake for 10 turns in anticipation. good mod addition Sir Harry.

Xtiaan, I'm play the current DLVanilla 5.3 with no extras (I like to just get the current verison). Didn't take one of their cities or defile any of their temples. Just went on an unsuccessful crusde - oh, and I've remained a stanch ally to his Popeliness since the start of the game. Whatever the cause, it looks like an interesting event.

I REALLY like the way M2TW DLV can surprise me after all these many months of gaming. Rock on Repman & gang!
