I really enjoy some of Bill Moyers journalism, he seems to be on to something about every time... so is this news piece from 1987 even more apt for today's America under Bush even more?

The National Security Act of 1947 has basically laid the foundation for all the CIA's future operations and in fact created the CIA. All they're successes and failures, all the atrocities committed in countries who they've funded and supported, can be traced to this document.
