Greco Persian Wars MOD (Spartan Persia MOD)

hi im the part of the Greco Persian Wars Modification assembly team. We had a mod called Spartan Persian mod back in rtw heaven:

This mod is mostly focused on Greek and eastern factions. Future plans are to modify the map to represent the 500BC era. So far we have had lots of new units. But i need some help as im not great with 3d modeling. The thing different about this mod from others is that its not limited to a certain time period. It sort of ranges from 500-200 BC era and focuses on Persian - Greek conflicts. Some uncertainties are faced in the Greek factions where it is difficult to decide whether the Spartans should fight in the short_pike phalanx fashion or the overhead spear version. Currently most of them are fighting in short_pike phalanx fashion as our general audience demanded to be such. But this may change. We have also developed maps for Thermopylae, Marathon, Platea and more.

not much has been released since then but we have done quite some work and its really a one man team as none of my clanm8s know how to mod lol. but if anyone wants to join up and help expand this mod it would be awesome. we currently have a v0.8 beta out and 0.9 is scheduled for release soon.

Sorry for the double post but I'd like to give some constructive criticism.

First of all, battles are very short. Units die off very quickly and missile units have little use. Maybe you could lenghten the battles by editing the unit stats.

The other thing that troubled me was the sparabara&hyrcanian cavalry and their thick necks. The unit is modeled to be skinned with a persian tiara, a soft cloth 'hood' which included a scarf that could be pulled over the face. The present unit looks little silly with a huge neck.

All in all, there's great potential in this mod. I have checked your new units from the site and they seem very nice.
