The Samnites were completely tame and loyal to even the Roman army as mercenaries.

The Dacians, while famed for their excellent wall building techniques by ancient historians could actually only build simple obstacles around their settlements made of wood. All Roman accounts of such well constructed walls are fake.

Seleucia was actually a weak kingdom that fell to the Pontic Alliance in the early 3rd Century BC.

If one of the Julii conquered Thermon and Syracuse, every other Roman family would forget how to move until the civil war.

Britannia and Belgium were unified by an unknown tribe. This tribe would nearly wipe out the Germanic cultures until the Julii arrived in the early 2nd century BC.

An ancient fleet consisted of 20 ships max, and could not go beyond that, despite historical records telling us of naval battles consisting of hundreds (sometimes thousands) of ships.

The Haradrim/Easterlings from Lord of the Rings apparently lived in a far corner of northern Europe in 270 BC, and even bred Mumakil at the time.

Whenever a spy entered a city, he was sometimes able to sneak past the guards unnoticed and open the city gates, sometimes keeping them opened indefinitely, without anyone noticing.
