    Default Parthian Campaign advise..?!

    Ave all..

I am currently playing a Campaign with Parthians (with version 17). I am at war with Seleucids, Ptolemics and Sycathians...Fighting aganist Sycathians is really hard since their army mainly consist of Noble horse archers and catahpracts while may army mainly made of eastern horse archers. Thus, I am currently trying to outnumber them or using terrain in my favor. But generally I loose too much men..Is there any way to fight them effectively?

Secondly, my aim is recreation of Persian Empire, but I am now controlling all eastern civilization except Saba. Now I have to conquer cities that has different civilization..Hand part begins...Historically Persians first conquered Egypty. I also will try that but since Ptolemics are western civilized it will be really hard..

BTW, Why Sycathian have Temple of Budda ?

    Thanks in advance..

Well, first off, take those Pontic cities near you, and post a stack to hold them. Then turn your attentions to Egypt and most Eastern of the Seleucids cities (Antioch, Damscus, Tarsus). It is a rich land, and secures one of your borders without creating a new one. Don't enter Scythia, it is a money drainer, and not worth it a part from a few on the black sea. Just post a stack in Campus Legae to hold them off. Once you take Egypt, secure Anatolia, and if your still playing the campaign, you might want to move into Greece...

Thats weird the Scythians have shrines to Buddha, I thought only Baktria was supposed to have it...
