road from timbuktu, north?
It's not really a big deal but I'm just curious. In my moor campaign I noticed that there are never any of those little horse trade carriages on the campaign map going north from timbuktu even when I see that timbuktu is giving marrakesh gold and ivory. Does any one know if it's fixable or what is going on with that?

Sometimes they wont show up, but ive fixed this by doubleclicking the city to open its city tab. Or maybe it was a nearby city's tab.
It could be just that the trade is not significant enough to show up.

Perhaps there are rebels on the road?

Have dirt or paved roads have been built in one or both provinces? You can use the console to remove FOW or look in city stats to see if there is any devastation which could be due to rebels which love to sit on that north bound route.

there aren't any rebels or devastation and both merrakesh and timbuktu have paved roads. There are those horses going to arguin from timbuktu though.

Inexplicable. Must be quicksand or a teamsters' strike.
