Well as per usual I was walking down the street past the shantys inside my nice gated community living in my guilded cage in Cape Town, so I decided to get a couple of friends togather and take a ride down to Durban, well we go, and after a long series of unfortunate events I meet some fundamentalist christan * I thought I was safe in South Africa!*

Anyway, long arguement commenses, I win, he runs off saying I am going to hell, blah blah blah...

Anyway, I do not understand how people can think this sort of thing. I am a generally good person, I give to charity, go to church whenever I can, be polite, ect.... its not like I am some spawn of satan who is going around rapeing and pillaging everything in sight, yet I am going to hell, its rather quite ammusing.

I admit, I am not as well aquainted with the bible as I should be, but if religion is true does god not reward being a good person instead of mindlessly reading text....

Where i am from they usually use this tactic because they genuinely worry about my soul. It becomes really annoying though the moment they try to use it as a scare tactic. I agree with your last sentence completely. If their god existed than he would surely have to be smart enough to judge people by how they go about their lives rather than how much religious text they've read or whatnot.

nah. i don't know about that. murdering a believer is unforgiveable as well as seeing the truth and signs and still rejecting islam. polytheism is also unforgiveable unless they accept islam. unjust and tyrannical rule is also an unforgiveable sin. unless of course one embraces islam because all sins are forgiven once you do
